PULSING HEART SONNET

Did Jesus gladly walk for me

The trail of pain and misery

The mocking and the evil plan

Were carried in His steadfast hand

He bowed His head, they spew their hate

He humbly waited out His fate

Was I a thought within His mind?

Along with millions of mankind?

Did He know ‘fear’ that ho-ur dark

and sense the pulsing of His heart?

What did He feel-life ebbed away

The Father scorned Him on that day?

Dominion dark was being torn

And through it all New Life was born.
