She poured on Him the costly nard and wiped
The fragrance filled the home of sweet perfume
Her hair uncovered boldly in their sight
He was anointed for His kingly tomb
But Judas did not see her sacrifice
And could not comprehend who Jesus was
He did not see Him worthy of the price
Or one deserving man’s sincere applause
Do I give costly sacrifice like this?
On bended, humbled knees do I come near?
When opposition comes, do I persist?
Do I pour out my praise for all to hear?
I pour my time, my love, my life, my call
For you, my King, are worthy of it all
